It will be on the 17th of this month that the Australian Grand Prix is being staged over in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and that is bound to be an event many of you out there will fancy placing a bet on, and if so make sure you take a look at the futures betting markets offered by betting sites such as BetFred.
You are going to find ever single driver listed on that betting market and you will be able to pick out any of them to bet on, in the hope that they are the driver that goes on to win the race. As for the driver that is currently heading that betting market well it won’t surprise you to learn that it is the Ferrari driver S. Vettel at odds of 15/8 that does lead the betting.
His odds may be a little on the short side but they are not that low that you would be put off backing him, however there are two other drivers that have just as much chance of winning this event as he does, and the first of them is the Mercedes driver L. Hamilton who you can back right now at odds of 9/4
Next in the betting is the other Ferrari driver C. Leclerc and I am more than confident many of you out there will fancy his chances and over at the BetFred betting site he is available at odds of 5/2.
Other Possible Winners
Looking at the very obvious chance so the three drivers listed up above it is much more likely one of them are going to win the Australian Grand Prix, but there are also three other drivers that do have something of a slim chance of doing so.
They are in order of their betting odds the Red Bull driver M. Verstappen whose odds right now are 15/2, you then have the Mercedes driver V. Bottas and he is very easy to back at odds of around the 12/1 mark and the Red Bull driver P. Gasly has a tiny chance of winning which is reflected in his win odds at the BetFred betting site and those odds are 40/1.
Rank Outsiders to Win the Australian Grand Prix
If you fancy the chance so any of the other drivers that are going to be taking part in this years 2019 running of the Australian Grand Prix, you will probably get offered and can in fact ask for much higher odds than any bookie will be offering you on a betting exchange.
However, I will rattle through the odds available on some of those other drivers so you can get an idea of just how tiny their chances of winning this event really are!
Two drivers are on offer at huge odds of 250/1 and they are the two Renault drivers N. Hulkenberg and D. Ricciardo, three drivers are on offer at even higher odds to win this race at odds of 300/1 and they are the two Has drivers R. Grosjean and K. Magnussen along with the Alfa Romeo driver K. Raikkonen, and you can back the McLaren driver C. Sainz at odds of 400/1.
