Canadian Grand Prix Betting

Not long now until the Canadian Grand Prix gets underway, and if you are blissfully unaware that race is going to be taking place on the 9th of June this year, and there are of course plenty of drivers that are going to have an eye on the prize.

Favourite backers will of course be placing their hard-earned money on Lewis Hamilton, however at odds of just 23/20 you will probably have to bet big to get a decent winning pay-out if you do think Hamilton is going to come out on top this year.

It could be the case that the second favourite manages to pip Hamilton to the post, and if you think that is going to happen then it will be Valtteri Bottas at 9/4 that you should be backing, as this year may be the year that he shines in this race.

Two other drivers are in with a fair chance of winning this race this year, and they are Sebastian Vettel at 7/2 and Charles Leclerc who is currently trading at odds of or around the 5/1, so do consider a small speculative punt on either of them if you think the top two in the betting are not going to win the Canadian Grand Prix.

Get One Third the Odds to Two Places

If you fancy placing a bet on any driver to win the Canadian Grand Prix, do also keep in mind that you are going to allow be allowed to bet each-way too, and with some of the drivers available at big odds that may be something you are interested in doing.

Take for example when you place such a bet over at the Coral betting site, they are paying out to two places this year and are paying out on the place part of an each-way bet at odds of one third of the outright winner odds, so it may be worth betting with them if you do want to place an each-way bet.

A Few Outsiders

You may still be convinced and of the mind that it isn’t going to be any of the drivers I have so far introduced to you that is going to win the Canadian Grand Prix this year, and if not then there are some truly massive odds being foddered on the rest of the field.

Max Verstappen at 16/1 is the final driver that is being touted at win odds in double digits, for all other drivers have odds of at least 100/1, and one driver that you can back at those odds is Pierre Gasly, but to be fair he doesn’t have much chance of winning this race!

Part from Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen, Nico Hulkenberg and Romain Grosjean who are all 750/1, you are going to be able to get odds of at least 1000/1 on all other drivers, and as such those odds should give you a very clear overview of what their respective chances are of winning the Canadian Grand Prix this year, and those chances are of course tiny.
