Three days of solid darts action kicks off today in the Czech Darts Open, and with a huge range of betting opportunities available on that tournament I want to enlighten you of the current state of the early betting market.
Just be aware though that as soon as the tournament does start today, the betting market will switch over to a live and in-play one and as such the odds are going to start to fluctuate as players get knocked out of the tournament or progress through to the next rounds.
Favourite backers that have backed the favourites to win several of the darts tournaments that have been played off this year, will have made a tidy profit, and as for the one player that is leading the early betting market and may appeal to you is Michael Van Gerwen who at odds of 10/11 does look like a rock-solid bet, despite those very low valued odds.
There is of course always the very real chance that another darts player could suddenly find their very best form and one that many punters are pinning their hopes on in the Czech Darts Open is the second favourite that being James Wade who is currently trading at odds of 12/1.
Best Each-Way Betting Terms
It is going to be up to you whether you follow most punters an back Gerwen to win, but those value hunters and value seekers out there may be much better placed trying to work out a player that is going to end up in the final game, probably with Gerwen.
I say that due to the fact that many betting sites, sportsbooks and bookies are offering one third of the win odds to two places when punters back a player each-way, and that could possibly see you getting a much higher valued winning pay-out if the player you back finishes in second spot only.
How About Backing Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright?
I wouldn’t say the betting is huge on any of the other darts playing taking part in the 2019 running of the Czech Darts Open on the early betting markets, but there is certainly plenty of value to be had if you are prepared to back a player not year mentioned above.
Take for example both Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright, they could find their very best form in this tournament and either of them ay just be worth backing to small wagers either to win the tournament outright or even as an each-way betting opportunity, for their odds are both 14/1.
Moving onto two other players that could cause a major upset in this tournament, well looking at the form of Ian White he could pull of something of a shock if he does manage to up his game somewhat and he is a 16/1 shot, and if everything falls in place for Daryl Gurney he could win or even get placed and he is a fair each-way bet for sure at his current odds of 20/1.
