Group Betting on the Memorial Tournament 2019

As the Memorial Tournament of 2019 is about to start there will be the usual late flurry of bets and wagers placed today on each of the many different betting markets that are being offered by all sportsbooks and betting sites on that event.

Three betting markets that may just be worth checking out are the Group betting markets, for the golfers have been split up into three different groups, those being A, B and C, and as such you can pick out which one you think will win each of those groups after 72 holes have been played.

Mcilroy is in Group A and he is the one golfer plenty of punters have already been backing to win that group, so much so that his win odds are currently around the 23/10 mark, but that isn’t to say any of the other golfers such as T. Woods aren’t without their chances and Woods is available at odds of 3/1 to head that group after 72 holes.

Odds of 4/1 are also being touted for the other three golfers that are playing in Group A and those three golfers if you are blissfully unaware are J. Thomas, J. Rose and R. Fowler, and it’s a fair bet that any of them may improve on their current form and come out on top and win that group.

Group B Betting Opportunities

Keep in mind that if you make use of the betting markets available right now at bookies sites like BetFred, you will find a very large and very diverse range of different betting opportunities on this years Memorial Tournament, and not just betting markets on each of the three groups.

But if you are thinking about betting on any of the golfers that are in Group B, you may not go too far wrong betting on P. Cantlay for he is the current 5/2 favourite and does have a very good chance of heading that group for sure.

Day is also in that group and he is a 3/1 shot, followed by M. Kuchar who is easy to back at win odds of 7/2 and then you have the final two golfers who can both be backed at odds of 4/1 and they are J. Spieth and X. Schauffele 4/1.

Group C

Now you are aware of the odds attached to each golfer playing in both Group A and Group B, let me now give you some ideas of the current state of the betting market on the golfers that are listed as being those that are going to be playing in Group C.

The smart money has been pouring in for quite some time now on T. Finau, which has result in him becoming the firm favourite to had Group C and as for just what odds are still being made available on him going so, well those odds are 14/5.

The next player in the betting is the highly experienced H. Matsuyama and it wouldn’t surprise too many people if he did come out on top and head Group C after 72 holes and his odds for reference are 3/1. As for the chances of golfers like G. Woodland, he is a 7/2 shot and both A. Scott and B. Dechambeau can be backed at odds of 19/5.
