The very next golf tournament on the schedule is of course the Open de France, and with bookies across the globe offering their own unique betting markets on that tournament, you may be considering placing a bet upon it.
If so then please do read on as today I am going to be taking a look at the golfers that are currently being backed which may just point you in the right direction of just which ones to bet on yourself, and I will also give you an overview of the generally available odds on each of those golfers too.
As far as the early favourite to win the Open de France, well the player that has currently taken that honour is the talented Alex Noren who is being touted at plenty of betting sites at odds of around the 10/1 mark, so there is still plenty of value to be had by backing him right now.
The next player that is being backed is Erik van Rooyen, and has long as he does play up to his current form then he has every chance in the world of winning that major golf tournament, and as far as the odds available well they are around the 12/1 mark.
Joost Luiten in with a Chance of Success
There are three other golfers that are being backed too and one of them that I do feel may just be worth having a small speculative bet on is Joost Luiten, for he does have it in him to win a tournament of this nature and his win odds are currently 15/1.
You then have the likes of Matthias Schwab who is easy to back at odds of around the 16/1 mark, and with Thomas Pieters being offered at odds of 18/1 there is always the very real chance that he could improve on his current form and come out on top and win this tournament this year.
Other Golfers Involved in this Tournament
Let me now quickly look at some of the other golfers that are going to be taking their chances in this golf tournament, and the odds on the rest of those golfers are of course much higher than those I have named up above, and as such their chances of winning are much lower.
The next golfer in the betting is Jordan Smith at 20/1 then the odds on the next golfer in the betting markets is Marcus Kinhult do jump quite noticeably as his outright win odds are 28/1 followed by Ross Fisher who is 30/1.
A couple of golfers that are being offered at odds of 30/1 are Sam Horsfield and Thomas Detry and and then you have the likes of Andy Sullivan, Martin Kaymer, Victor Perez and Kurt Kitayama who do appear to be somewhat friendless on the current betting markets as you can back each of them at much higher odds of 40/1.
