Vitality T20 Blast Betting Update

With the Vitality T20 Blast being such a popular sporting event and with plenty of Cricket teams involved in that competition that does of course mean there are plenty of betting opportunities too, and today I will be looking at the current state of the betting markets.

There are plenty of different betting strategies that you could choose to adopt if you are planning on betting on the Vitality T20 Blast this year, however most punters will simply back the favourite to win it and hope for the best and that team is currently Somerset at 7/1.

You may not fancy the chances of the current favourite, and if that is the case then perhaps you will like the look and the odds attached to the next two teams chalked up on most bookies boards, that are Surrey and Sussex who are joint second favourites right now both trading at odds of 15/2.

It may be the case that you do not fancy the chances of any of the teams heading he current early betting markets, and as such do also check out the possibilities of teams like Nottinghamshire and Hampshire at 8/1 or even Worcestershire at 9/1 winning this year too.

Two Places Being Paid Each-Way

It may of course be worth backing any number of cricket teams each-way instead of backing any one team to win, and with most bookies going one half of the win odds and paying out to two places as part of their each-way betting terms you do have plenty of each-way betting opportunities of course.

As for which teams are available at high enough odds currently to make an each-way bet worth placing, well there are teams such as Lancashire and Middlesex at 10/1 and you could choose to back Yorkshire each-way at 12/1 or even Kent at 14/1 if you rate their chances.

Bigger Odds Available on All Other Teams

As you have already seen from up above, there really are some very appealing odds available on those competition, but keep in mind that there are plenty of other teams and their respective odds are even higher than those teams above.

Take for example teams such as Lancashire and Middlesex you can back them at 10/1 or you may rate the very obvious chance of teams such as Yorkshire at 12/1 or even place a few quid on Kent at 14/1, but probably an each-way bet will be the very best betting option for Kent.

Moving onto the Birmingham Bears, Durham and Essex  plenty of their supporters and fans will be mopping up the currently available odds of 16/1 on each of them, and the same can also be said for fans of Gloucestershire who can back that team at odds of 20/1 and also Northamptonshire fans who will be happy with the 22/1 odds they can secure right now on that team.

Much like there are always going to be favourites to win events such as this one, there will also be rank outsiders, and currently those rank outsiders are Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Glamorgan at 33/1.
