Where the Values Lays in the Denford Stakes Race

Looking ahead to one of the featured horse races this coming Saturday the 17th of August 2019, well the Denford Stakes race over at the Newbury racecourse is one that many punters do have their eyes on and it is one that does have something of a red hot favourites to win it running in it too.

That horse is Juan Elcano, and looking at its form and the form of all other runners in that race, you can see why it has been heavily backed on the ante post betting markets, in fact so much cash has already been bet on it in advance of the race you are going to find it hard to get odds any higher than 5/4 on it.

You could of course head on over to the Betfair betting exchange if you do want to try and secure some much bigger odds on Juan Elcano, however you may find it difficult to get much higher odds, but you never know another user of that betting exchange may be prepared to offer you slightly bigger odds.

That horse does however look like it is going to make most of the running, and it is certainly going to have a fair chance of getting up and winning the race, but if you do want some value then perhaps you should try and look for a horse to back each-way in that race instead.

Denford Stakes Each-Way Betting

Keep in mind that there are not what you would ever call a huge number of runners running in the Denford Stakes, and as such the standard each-way betting terms are going to apply to that race at most betting sites and betting shops too.

Those terms are going to see your each-way bets being paid out at one fifth the win odds to three places, on the place part of such a bet of course and you will as usual get the full win odds if your horse goes on to win that race on the win part of your each-way bet too.

Horses Chalked Up at Single Digit Odds

If you are much more inclined to place an each-way bet and pick out a horse that isn’t the favourite to win this years running of the Denford Stakes races, then below are those horses that have been attracting a small bit of support from each-way punters.

The next horse in the betting that being the current second favourite to win is Sun Power readily available at plenty of different betting site at odds of 3/1 followed by the third favourite horse to win that currently being Thunderous at 4/1.

You will also find Wyclif is easy to back at odds of 11/2 and the same can also be said for the other two horses next in the betting those being the 9/1 shots Pyledriver and Sesame Birah, the rest of the field are available at odds of at the very least 12/1 bar right now.
